The relatively new gay Sauna Nieuwezijds (open in November 2013), developed by the same team who operate Club Church), has set new standards in Amsterdam.

Facilities include a big Turkish bath, steam room, Finnish sauna, a jacuzzi large enough to fit 8 people, dark room and plenty of private cabins.

Open 7 days a week, from noon to 6am the next day, and 24 hours on the weekend.  The sauna gets very busy on weekends, so be prepared to queue.  Free drink included in entry price.

Amsterdam’s leading gay sauna and one of the largest in Europe. Thermos Sauna has been in business for 50 years.

Facilities on 5 floors include dry sauna, steam bath, whirlpool, swimming pool, bar, restaurant, internet corner, cabins, roof terrace, and sun beds. Massage service, hair salon and sportswear shop are available.
