Portsea Sauna is a relatively small, discreet west central London venue close to Marble Arch underground station.  Facilities include a steam room, sauna and chill out bar (offering free light refreshments). Saunabar is particularly known for its professionally qualified masseurs. There are normally at least two or three masseurs on duty offering a range of back, shoulder, sports and Swedish massage therapies.

Located right in the heart of the South London Vauxhall gay area, Chariots Vauxhall is popular every night of the week, but especially busy at the weekends after the nearby bars and dance clubs close.  This gay men’s playground is located in huge railway archways with facilities that include 500 lockers, two 20-man steam rooms, two 30-man saunas, two dark rooms and a maze of 50 private relaxation cabins.  The is also a café with internet access and TV lounge.

Open over night every day of the week and continuously from Friday to Monday morning.  Particularly busy from around 2am on Sunday mornings as the bars start winding down.  Don’t be surprised if you have to queue from 4am on Sunday mornings if there is a big party on the Vauxhall area.

This clean, modern and comfortable sauna is one of the more ‘hardcore’ venues in London appealing to those who like to play a bit rougher.  Features include two sling rooms, large underground cruising area with private cabins, turntables etc etc… You get the idea.  The Locker Room offers free tea, coffee and soft drinks, free internet access and a 25-man cinema.  There is also an outdoor heated smoking area – in case you need a puff after a poof.

There are regular themed nights and parties, including ‘naked nights’, ‘dads and bears’, and an HIV+ night for HIV+ guys to meet and play. Relatively small sauna featuring a sauna, steam room, showers, an equipped dark room and chill booth.  No private cabins so its not for the shy.  Entry fee, which is amongst the lowest in town, includes free light refreshments.  Smoking yard at the back. Located just a few minutes walk from both the New Cross Gate or New Cross Underground Stations. Look for a blacked-out shop front window rather than a sign.
