In recent years, Mykonos has seen a huge growth in the number of gay travellers, particularly during August & September. Many of the best-value hotels sell out fast, so book your room early.
These hotels are within walking distance of Mykonos Town and the gay scene in the Old Port area. Most are on the hillside, immediately behind the town centre and so offer stunning sea views and warm breezes.
The Mykonos gay nightlife starts late, with the bars getting busy after midnight. Taxis are in short supply (and expensive) at night, so it is more sensible to stay at a hotel near Mykonos Town.
