Why this hotel: Next to the gay beach. Close to the bars.
The Calipolis is one of the larger beachfront hotels in Sitges with 170 rooms, most of which have excellent views overlooking the gay section of the beach. The air-conditioned rooms feature satellite TV, private terraces and free WiFi.
If you fancy a break from the beach, then the hotel’s private pool and sun terrace is a great place to relax. The gay bars and clubs are just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel (as is the railway station if you fancy a night out in Barcelona).

Why this hotel: Excellent value. Next to the gay beach. Near the bars.
A modern hotel located on the seafront overlooking the main gay beach in Sitges. La Niña, opened in 2004, is comprised of four historical buildings that date from the early twentieth century. Behind the retained facades are relatively modern guest rooms and public spaces.
There are 47 air-conditioned rooms, some of which have sea views. The rooms are simply furnished but feature a flat screen TV with satellite channels, a minibar and safe. WiFi is available and free for all guests.
La Niña has a plunge pool and sundeck on the top floor of the main building with fabulous sea views. The hotel’s restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine – although being very close to the town, you have plenty of other options. Likewise, most of the gay bars and clubs are just a few minutes’ walk away.

Why this hotel: Apartment style. Close to the gay beach & bars.
This apartment-style hotel is right across from the Playa de la Bassa Rodona gay beach and close to the town centre. A great choice if you want to have a bit more space and a few more facilities than normally found in a hotel room. Don’t expect too much style, but each comfortable apartment does feature a kitchenette (with microwave oven, washer dryer, etc.), a terrace, air conditioning, satellite TV and free WiFi.
Mediterraneo has three interconnecting pools and sun terraces, its own bar, café and restaurant, although there are plenty of choices locally.

Why this hotel: Modern design. Close to the gay nightlife & beach.
The Alenti is a relatively small, top-rated boutique hotel located in the heart of the Sitges gay nightlife. Parrots bar and sauna are just across the road, and many of the other popular gay venues are less than 1-minute walk from the hotel. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away.
There are just 9 minimalistic designer rooms and suites, all of which are en suite and air-conditioned. The modern suites have an outside seating area with a table, chairs and outside bath. Free WiFi. Alenti restaurant offers a great breakfast that includes a wide selection of bakery produce, cheeses, fresh juices and freshly ground coffees made to order.

Why this hotel: Best seller. Stylish rooms. Quieter area.
Antemare is located in a quieter part of town, about 250 metres from the Playa de la Bassa Rodona gay beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the gay nightlife. The hotel has 116 en suite rooms, all of which are air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, minibar, safe, a furnished terrace and free WiFi.
Outside, the hotel has two pools, sun terraces and well-maintained gardens offering a relaxed alternative to the beach. The onsite Thalassotherapy Centre offers a range of treatments and services to buff up your body! A consistently popular choice with gay travellers.

The Avendia Sofia is a stylish, new hotel (opened in 2013) located just 150 metres from Playa de la Bassa Rodona, the most popular “gay beach” in Sitges.
The hotel offers a choice of modern, stylish guest rooms with features such as a flat screen TV, free WiFi, air conditioning, a safe and minibar. There is an impressive rooftop Sky Bar and outdoor plunge pool as well as an extensive indoor spa that includes a Finnish sauna, Hamman, waterfall showers, jacuzzi, cold pool and massage treatment rooms.
Nightlife-wise, the hotel is just a couple of minutes’ walk from all the gay bars and clubs in Sitges town center and is just a short walk from the railway station (should you fancy a night out in Barcelona).

Why this hotel: Superb location. Fabulous views. Popular choice.
The Platjador is located on Sitges promenade, immediately behind the gayest section of Sitges Beach. The hotel features 59 modern, air-conditioned en suite rooms that feature a 32-inch LCD TV, a choice of pillows and tea & coffee making facilities. An extensive breakfast buffet is served until noon. Free WiFi is available.
The hotel’s rooftop bar has fabulous sea views and is a great place to chill out with a cocktail after the beach. Nightlife-wise, the Platjodor is just moments away from the gay scene in Sitges town centre. Limited availability for summer 2014.

Why this hotel: Ocean views. Close to gay beach. Value for money.
It is not really possible to stay any closer to the Playa de la Bassa gay beach than at Hotel Subur. Originally opened more than 100 years ago, this beachfront hotel offers good value for money, clean, simply furnished but comfortable rooms. The larger superior units have great sea views and a private balcony that is great for people watching. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV and free WiFi.
Subur serves a reasonable buffet breakfast. Lunch, dinner and drinks are available all day long from the ground floor Sports Café. Like the beach, the town and the gay venues are just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. A popular choice with gay travellers.

The Parrots Sitges gay hotel is 200 metres from the main gay beach and just a few steps from many of Sitges’ most popular gay bars including Parrots Bar. Each simply furnished, comfortable en suite room is air-conditioned and features satellite TV, DVD player, in-room safe and free WiFi.
Parrots Sauna is located within the hotel. Great value for money makes this a popular choice that sells out quickly during peak season.

A great value-for-money choice for travellers on a budget. The Galeón is just 250 metres from the beach and close to many popular gay bars in Sitges. This Castillian-styled hotel offers comfortable air-conditioned rooms with en suite bathrooms, with satellite TV, tea & coffee making facilities and free WiFi. The hotel has a small pool and sun terrace.
The Galeón is particularly well-known for offering a substantial breakfast buffet that includes juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, a wide selection of bakery and pastries, as well as cooked choices such as sausages, eggs, etc.

The gay Hotel Los Globos offers comfortable en suite rooms, some with private terraces. Each room features air conditioning, satellite TV, free WiFi and safe. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, about 200 metres from the main gay beach and about 500 metres from the town centre itself. A great value-for-money option.

Hotel Romàntic is located within three adjoining 19th century villas. Much of the period style has been retained and complemented by a collection of paintings and sculptures.
Romantic has a loyal following of gay travellers who simply would not consider anywhere else. The guest rooms (many of which have high ceilings) don’t have air conditioning or a TV. But there is free WiFi, a beautiful garden, a good breakfast service and it’s cheap.

Why this hotel: Gay-owned. Convenient location. Value for money.
Charming, gay-owned and very gay-friendly hotel near Sitges railway station and within walking distance from the beach, the shops and the gay bars. Hotel Liberty is housed in a historic Cuban-style building with a small garden.
The rooms are comfortable and feature air conditioning, flat screen TV, CD/DVD player, tea & coffee maker and free WiFi. There is a bar onsite, and a tasty breakfast is served each morning from 9:30am until noon.

Located in the very heart of Sitges, just moments away from some of the best gay bars but still only 250 metres from the beach, or you can chill out on the hotel’s terrace next to the nice pool.
Hotel El Cid offers cheap, simply furnished rooms that attract a loyal following of gay travellers who just keep coming back year after year. Great value for money, great location and great service. Book early if you want to stay here!

Why this hotel: Luxury choice. Nice pool & dining. Near the nudist beach.
The Dolce is the closest you can get to a ‘luxury’ resort in Sitges. It is also the closest hotel to the Playa del Muerto gay nudist beach!
Refurbished in 2013, guest rooms are spacious and well-equipped with free WiFi. Many have wonderful sea views (as the hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the sea). The resort has four outside pools, a spa and choice of restaurants and bars. During the summer months, the hotel operates a shuttle service to the town (which is otherwise a 45-minute walk or approximately 6-7 euros by taxi).

Meliá Sitges is one of the largest resorts in town. It’s also really close to the mixed gay/straight nudist beach (about 300 metres away). The hotel offers stylish rooms and a great choice of onsite facilities including swimming pools, spa and gym. Internet access is available at an extra charge.
The hotel is on a hillside just outside of the town and as a result, some rooms have amazing views of the Costa. The main gay beach in Sitges is about a 20-30 minute walk, so it is really for those who plan to go ‘au naturel’ most of the week!

Hotel Sitges is located in the quieter, more upmarket residential district of El Vinyet in Sitges. Completely renovated in 2012, this stylish boutique hotel offers designer guest rooms that feature comfortable beds, flat screen TV, air conditioning and free WiFi. A continental buffet breakfast is served daily, offering a good choice of meat, cheese, juices, cereals, etc.
The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the beach. The gay section is a bit further along towards the town and can be reached in about 10 minutes. Likewise, the bars and clubs in town are about 700 metres away and will take around 12 – 15 minutes. A popular choice with gay travellers who prefer a more peaceful location but still have easy access to the nightlife.
