Based on the play by Jean Poiret, La Cages aux Folles is a Timothy Sheader-directed musical packed with dazzling numbers including "I Am What I Am" and "The Best of Times."

The show boasts of a fantastic cast including Carl Mullaney (Chicago, Les Misérables) as Albin, and Billy Carter (A Moon For The Misbegotten) as Georges. They are joined by Debbie Kurup (The Cher Show) as Jacqueline, John Owen-Jones (The Great British Bake Off Musical, Les Miserables) as Edward Dindon, Ben Culleton as Jean-Michel and Sophie Pourret as Anne.

La Cages aux Folles follows the story of drag nightclub manager Georges and his partner, Albin, who performs as Zaza, the nightclub's star attraction. their lives are thrown into chaos when Georges' son, Jean-Michel announces he intends to marry Anne whose father is the bigoted head of the anti-drag Tradition, Family and Morality Party.

Due to popular demand, La Cages aux Folles is showing at The Regent's Park Open Air Theatre until 23 September 2023.
