Amsterdam Gay Bars

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to gay bars in Amsterdam. Most gay venues are located in two main areas:

Reguliersdwarsstraat, Amstel / Kerkstraat – home to a great choice of bars & cafés
Old Centre – historic city centre with Dam Square at its heart

Reguliersdwarsstraat / Amstel / Kerkstraat

One of the main gay streets in Amsterdam. Reguliersdwarsstraat is home to excellent gay bars, restaurants and shops. More authentically Dutch gay venues and cafés can be found around at the nearby Amstel area.

Equally close is Kerkstraat, a historic street that runs through the city centre and a more recent addition to the gay nightlife scene. Kerkstraat is home to late-night cruising venues such as Club Church.

SoHo

audience rating 4.1 stars from 7 votes - click to vote

English-style gay bar in the heart of Amsterdam’s gay scene. SoHo is a good place for drinks during the week, after work or a day of sightseeing, or on the weekend when a mix of in-house and visiting DJ’s spinning dance music all through the night.

We like the outside terrace area; a great place to make friends and take a breather from the hot dance floor. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
