Café by day and lively bar by night. Legends serves coffee, tea and light meals during the day on a terrace with sea views. In the evening, the bar kicks off, and stays open late into the night.
On a Friday and Saturday night Legends gets busier a bit later than other in Brighton (around 11pm). On a recent visit (March 2017), we actually liked arriving earlier in the evening as the bar service was super fast (compared with Charles Street) and finding a seat was easier.

Relatively small, traditional bar that offers a warm welcome to all. The Marine Tavern is particularly popular on a Saturday night when you just have to squeeze your way in.
Chris and Lee who run the pub arrange themed nights throughout the week, including a curry and quiz night on Tuesdays. Serves a pretty good value for money roast on Sundays.
