CSD Berlin (Christopher Street Day) gay Pride is one of the biggest in Europe, with an estimated 700,000 people expected to participate. The parade takes place at Kurfürstendamm on Saturday, July 23rd – a month later than usual due to the European Football Championship in June.
Pride celebrations and the parade have become more political in recent years, campaigning for equal rights and same-sex marriage. But you’ll find still find plenty of street festivals and dance parties stretching across Berlin.
