Pride in London is a week-long celebration of the UK’s LGBT community and equal rights between 22nd and 29th June 2014.
With same-sex marriages coming into force, there’s every reason to celebrate. In 2013 some 65,000 people took to the streets and enjoyed the entertainment in Trafalgar Square. Organisers expect that the 2104 event will be a bigger and bolder expression of vitality for the LGBT community in London. With the full backing of the Mayor of London, it is the only community event in London that sees half of the West End closed for celebrations.
The Pride Parade is the main highlight of London Pride which will take place on Saturday 28th June. The traditional route for the Parade starts at Baker Street, passing through Oxford Street and Regent Street before ending at Trafalgar Square. 15,000 people representing 100 community groups take part in this fantastic parade.
All the gay bars, clubs, cruise bars and saunas in London help keep the fun going all night long with numerous special events throughout the city. A great time to visit London.
