Woof LX started out in 2010 for a smallish group of Lisbon bears and their admirers who wanted to hang out together. A few years later, it became the centre of Lisbon’s bear community.

Popular, gay-friendly bar at the corner (Esquina), between Bairro Alto district and Principe Real. The area is home to several bars and, whilst not at “gay” bar, it always crowded with a fair share of gay people.
The crowds spill out onto the street on balmy nights and don’t disperse until the sun comes up.

One of the few bars in Lisbon’s old red light district, Cais do Sodre, Viking is amidst a street of small clubs catering to a very mixed, raucous and international crowd.
