Not really a sauna, but actually better than the reviews

Here's the deal. This really isn't a sauna. More of a cruise club than anything else. But it isn't that bad. Crowd was very diverse but some really good looking guys there. Crowd was looking to play rather than model. Nice bonus, people were actually playing safely.

Avoid at all cost

The place was frightening. Inadequate lighting, open electrical fixtures, no real opportunity for intimacy, uncomfortable, old furniture, badly functioning showers. I left as soon as possible, having wasted 150 SEK.

And why not a swimming pool or two :)

When I was at Bronx, two nice guys built walls to the steam room close to the shower rooms, would be ready by 25 May, 6 meters long they say. What does the playroom mean's? I played with 2 different men at the sling, I brought a nice adult man in a lockable room with a leather sofa, saw a guy being examined in a chair, there are two, found also wall bars, could have been more rooms, I had a nice time.

not so bad!

There is no reason to be so extremely negative. The surroundings are simple, but so what? Why do you need brand new furniture, when they will anyway be worn out by not so careful guests? Staff is VERY NICE, don't say anything else. And I think it was clean, although not easy to see in the dimmed light; showers were clean, they are not always at this kind of places. And after all it is just a temporary site. Quite useful for its purpose. A steam sauna coming next week, they say.

Very nice place

Stockholm hasn't had any sauna for decades. Now there are two. Of which Bronx is definitely the better one. Much more cosy. Cleaner. Even though none of this two places is "Hotel-clean". The steam-sauna is not yet ready, as the place is just recently opened. But as they are working hard to finish I'm sure it will soon be ready. I could wish there were more than just one private room. Hopefully that will come. None of those two places are "first class" venues. But so are the entrance rates descent. If you like chic places, go to a club or bar. If you want something to happened, this is a good place. The crowd is mainly 40-70. Few youngers. The previous reviewer does not seem too serious sadly. Or expect a Sheraton-sauna/

Local Hero

I can just agree...I was very disappointed . They promised steamroom, playroom etc and nothing is there yet. Looks like an old gymnastic hall, no cozy corners, no private rooms. The staff is very friendly tough! There are another sauna called Texas at the same street, similar style, but much better.

Worst sauna ever

This basement used to be a place for bus drivers and mechanics to change clothes after work. Now rented on a demolition contract means that no money is spent on adapting this run down facility into a gay sauna. Except for the old dry sauna there are no cabins, a shower room fully lit up with light tubes, one large room with furniture from a recycling station, no maze and only two small rooms for play. Sad to say that this is just a place for the people to run it to earn money. Avoid it.

Agree with Evan

I would say though that Bronx is second worst sauna. The other one, Texas is the worse. Place is dirty and just not up to standards like other places. On top of that guy at reception took 150 SEk and an extra 20 for lock. Logical is that when lock is returned, the extra 20 SEK that I paid will also be returned. In short, price charged was 170 SEK. Bronx gets 1.5 stars. And Texas only one. These 2 saunas have gotta be worst I have ever seen.
