Historic Turkish bath with that has been opened since 1485. Davutpasa claims to be the oldest hammam in Istanbul. The place was refurbished in 2013 and has since adopted a gay-friendly policy.
Located in Samatya district – not very central, but the fact that it is gay-friendly has made it more popular. The hammam is clean and well-run with private rooms.
Metro (M2): Yenikapi (a 15-minute walk)
Hot guys but watch the charges
“Just be careful of how the charges add up when you visit. We were put into one room to share, but were charged as though we had used 2 rooms. Double the prices charged compared to the Hammam we visited in Konya. No reductions made for the fact that the Sauna had died a few days earlier.”

Friendly and relaxed
“Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Seemed quite busy … especially the relaxing room and the with nice hot rooms behind were a bit crowded with nice people. Clean and very light, newer interior. Did not have a massage or a rub down, but definitely will try on my next visit.”
