Mauritsweg 34-35, Rotterdam, Netherlands, 3012 JT
Permanently CLOSED – went bankrupt in October 2017.
De Unie (The Union) offers delicious dishes during the day and attracts even more delicious men at night. Food and casual chat gives way to club-like environment with DJ’s, dancing and live entertainment.
The building and the name “De Unie” date back to 1925, and its façade is still held up as a classic example of the work of famous Dutch architect JJP Oud.

“The owner had the nerve to discriminate Turkish people and made a statement that says entrance will be free exclusively for non-turkIsh people, during protests in Rotterdam. So it is up to your conscious to support an establishment like this.“
