One of the oldest gay bars in Paris, located to the north of Le Marais. Frequented by an artsy-intellectual crowd, Duplex features simple décor and plays an eclectic mix of mostly retro (new wave, disco, synth-pop, early alternative and British Invasion rock, funk).

Duplex is one of the few bars in the area where it’s easy to have a conversation with the locals. Crowded at the weekends. Happy hour 8pm-10pm. Metro: Rambuteau
