Best seller on Travel Gay Europe. St Giles is a good value-for-money, centrally located hotel, just a few steps from Oxford Street and a short walk from the gay venues in Soho.

What makes St Giles really stand out is the enormous onsite leisure club. This gym has been popular with gay Londoners for decades. Facilities include a 25-metre indoor heated pool, free weights room, cardio zone, sauna & steam room and badminton courts.

All en suite guest rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, a digital safe and TV. WiFi is available for a fee. If you fancy affordable luxury, go for a more spacious executive room that is air-conditioned, has more luxurious toiletries and a great view of the London skyline.

  1. “I’ve stayed here several times, and continue to make it my choice of hotels when in London. Walking distance to several bars and a tube station. Rates are very reasonable for London. Overall, have never had a bad experience at this hotel (the nearby YMCA is very convenient; also found out the British Museum is very close).”
