Sad

Ok lets say you happen to be in Bristol for some reason and you are simply looking for a place to relax on a Friday night don't come here. Its the most telling indictment of what it is to be gay - sad, oppressive, insular, misogynist, not to mention the alcohol soaked carpet. The bartender screamed at me, the place reeks of a provincialism and some kind of parochial cloying small village affair - rubbishing common decency and cosmopolitan sensibility. I left shattered. This kind of place puts down not just what it is to be queer but the very idea of travelling and exploring.
