One of the most popular gay bars in Soho. Busy every night of the week, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays. Slightly quieter upstairs if you want to chat with friends.

Heidi Licious takes command on Wednesday to present V Karaoke. Saturday is our favourite night when VILLAGE’s sexy go-go dancers strut their stuff on the bar top and podium. Squeeze in and watch!

  1. Must visit when in London

“Surprised no-one has left a review about Village Soho since 2013. This really is one of London's most iconic gay bars. The location at the end of Compton Street means you cannot really miss it when visiting Soho. Packed out on a Saturday night and busy every other night of the week, the bar always has a good vibe. Great looking bar staff compensate slightly for the expensive drinks. Watch the sometimes slippery steps downstairs to the toilet.“

  2. Eye Candy

“The only bar in London with seriously muscular, good looking go-go boys. The drinks are expensive, you can hardly move on a Saturday night and make sure you watch your step on the stairs to the toilets. But you will have fun.“

  3. Fab-u-lous dancers!

“The Village is great - always full on a weekend, and the go-go dancers on the podiums are amazing. Plenty to do and see! Prices are reasonable, and the mixed clientele makes is a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I've often stopped off here before going on to bigger clubs.“

  4. “My favourite bar in Soho. Always busy, but completely packed at the weekends (sometime the door staff implement a one in one out policy - but given people move around between the Village / Yard and Rupert Street you don't usually have to wait very long. If you want to chat then try upstairs, or stick close to the front door if you want the best view of the go-go dancers :)“
