Why this hotel? Excellent value. In the Soho gay village. Best seller. Free WiFi.more pictures / bigger pictures – click here
The Z Hotel is the result of a clever conversion of 12 Georgian townhouses into an 85-room designer hotel in the heart of the Soho gay village, just moments from some of the best gay bars such as VILLAGE Soho, Shadow Lounge and The Yard.
The hotel offers incredible value for money. Modern, stylish rooms, ranging from 8-9 m² Singles to 14 m² Doubles, are a true master class in space utilisation. Features include a custom-built bed, en suite ‘wet’ bathroom, a 40″ HD TV, Sky TV and free WiFi.
A great choice for those who care for a friendly welcome, decent shower, comfortable bed and a socket for your charger! Often full, so book early, particularly for weekend stays.

Loved the wine and cheese!
“Incredible small rooms, but it is great place. Very efficient staff, comfortable bed, good quality linen and towels. The hotels also offers free wine and cheese / bread / biscuits / olives etc between 5 and 8pm which really does add to the value of staying here.
However the main reason for staying here is the location. All the gay bars in Soho are literally just a few minutes walk from the front door. There is also a huge selection of restaurants and cafes in the surrounding streets, and Chinatown is just a couple of minutes walk away. Both Leicester Square and Piccadilly tube stations are also less than 5 mins walk. Difficult to beat in its price bracket.”

“Very very small modern stylish rooms with just enough space for the bed and nothing else. But very very very central at a really good price. Literally just about 20 steps from Old Compton Street. We love Shadow Lounge and Z is great – just 2 minutes walk. Certainly ok for a couple of days in London. Very friendly service.”

“Conveniently located within a walking distance to leister square and Soho for nights out and west end for the shows! couldn’t get any better. Also if you are a in town to shop this would make a good headquarter for oxford street shopping mission. The hotel was clean and well decorated , the bed was comfortable but the room is a bit small. There is so much to do in the area though you would probably don’t want to spend too much time in the room.”
